Hill Country Community Theatre will welcome back AKA Vocal Showgroup for their all-new spring performance, The Greatest Generation: Songs of the Forties, with two performances on Saturday, May 2 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, May 3 at 2:00 PM.
This heartfelt musical revue pays tribute to the iconic music of the 1940s, a decade that shaped a nation through both hardship and hope. Featuring beloved big band favorites and touching wartime ballads, the program celebrates the spirit, resilience, and enduring legacy of the “Greatest Generation.” Audiences will enjoy an evening of timeless melodies, rich vocal harmonies, and nostalgic charm that honors both the music and the stories of this remarkable era.
AKA Vocal Showgroup is a well-known local ensemble dedicated to bringing classic and contemporary vocal music to audiences throughout the region. Known for their strong harmonies and engaging performances, AKA has become a favorite at HCCT, consistently delivering shows that resonate with audiences of all ages.
Performances will take place at Hill Country Community Theatre, located at 4003 W FM 2147 in Cottonwood Shores.
