Stephen Colbert Will Appear In Conversation With The Times' Sopan Deb At TimesTalks

TimesTalks, The New York Times live conversation and performance series, is proud to host a conversation between Emmy and Peabody award-winning comedian, writer, producer and television host Stephen Colbert and The New York Times culture reporter Sopan Deb on August 13.

The duo will discuss Colbert's "The Late Show," which has earned Emmy Nominations for Outstanding Variety Talk Series, Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series, and Outstanding Directing for a Variety Series. The two will engage in spirited conversation about Colbert's impact on culture over the last decade as a result of his comedic talents, acerbic wit and political parodies.

This TimesTalks event will take place on August 13 at TheTimesCenter and will be live streamed on TimesTalks.com, the TimesTalks YouTube channel, and Facebook starting at 7:30PM EST.
