SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM, featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and conceived and originally directed by James Lapine, is now available for licensing via Music Theatre International.

The site describes the show: "Millions of fans know his songs by heart, but few know much about Stephen Sondheim himself. An intimate portrait of the famed composer in his own words and music, SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM provides an inside look at Sondheim's personal life and artistic process. The show includes new arrangements of more than two dozen Sondheim tunes, ranging from the beloved to the obscure."

The revue features songs from Sondheim's A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, SATURDAY NIGHT, WEST SIDE STORY, COMPANY, MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, FOLLIES, SWEENEY TODD, PASSION, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, INTO THE WOODS, SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, ASSASSINS, COMPANY and ANYONE CAN WHISTLE.

Roundabout Theatre Company originally produced SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM at Studio 54. The show ran April-June 2010 and starred Barbara Cook, Vanessa Williams, Tom Wopat, Norm Lewis, Euan Morton, Matthew Scott, Erin Mackey and Leslie Kritzer.
