On January 24th, Jessica Daryl Winer's "Sardi's Screens" was unveiled to the press at a private party celebrating the artist's work and BroadwayWorld was there.

The seven new panels depict many (over 150) of Broadway's top stars – both past and present – in their signature roles.  The screens have been adapted from Winer's mural which decorated the Times Square Visitors Center since 1998 and can now be found on the 4th floor at Sardi's.

Artist Jessica Daryl Winer's work is in the permanent collection of the Museum of the City of NY, has appeared in the New Yorker, and she has created posters for the Metropolitan Opera and American Ballet Theatre.

Jessica Daryl Winer welcomes the crowd to the event
and explains the history of the piece.
