Photo Coverage: Billy Porter Kicks Off XL's MONDAY MUSICALS

XL Nightclub has officially taken over Musical Mondays, which have been renamed as Monday Musicals, and kicked off with an exciting lineup of special events beginning with a performance by Tony Award winning Kinky Boots star Billy Porter who helped launch the series last night.

New York City's largest "straight-friendly" cabaret and dance nightclub also welcomes a new face to its team. Dougie Meyer will join XL Nightclub as Promotional Director after working as Splash¹s Director of Promotions & Events for the last 8 years. Meyer will carry over the concept of Musical Mondays, which will be enhanced, supercharged and dubbed "MondayMusicals at XL," to the Hell¹s Kitchen hotspot housed within THE OUT NYC urban resort.
"After an off the charts first year in business in 2012, the addition of Dougie Meyer will help maintain XL¹s position as the number one gay nightclub in NYC," says XL Nightclub partner Ian Reisner.
The Orion Experience, an intergalactic rock concert adventure, will also land at XL on August 1stand the famed Hot Mess Drag Revue will continue to run every Friday night at 9:30pm. Additionally, the hilarious Pam Ann will return to the club September 21st and 22nd.
