New Comedy Series ONE BIRD AT A TIME Will Be Available This November

Can one well-meaning person change the world? And with big issues like homeless and mental illness surrounding us, is it worth it to even try?

"One Bird at a Time" is a heartfelt, comedic take on what happens when one woman gets in over her head trying to do good in the world.

Audiences will be able to watch "One Bird at a Time" via Vimeo and Amazon Prime beginning November 1.

Director Darcy Miller on "doing good" in the age of Trump:

There are so many issues that it's hard to pick one to pay attention to. It's so overwhelming that we get frustrated, or just want to tune it out. One Bird at a Time deals with the question of ordinary people living their lives, while trying to pay attention. They aren't spending 100% of their lives focused on global change - but they are trying to be involved in the world, be responsible for each other, and make some sort of difference.

That's what One Bird is all about - it's about reaching out even when it's messy, when it's uncertain, when you do it wrong, when you look stupid for trying - it's about the need to keep trying.

About "One Bird at a Time": Julie (played by director and writer Darcy Miller) and Jeff (Jason Rouse) are your ordinary Portland couple, except do-gooder and lovable neurotic Julie is obsessively driven to help those in need and ends up stumbling through her own misconceptions in the process. As she tries earnestly to help friends and neighbors dealing with issues like homelessness, poverty and mental illness - yet misses time and again - she has to wonder: is it even possible for one person to make a difference?
