'MALEXPOSURE - B:SIDE' Extends at G Lounge

After a great reception by theatre fans and the art world, MALEXPOSURE - B-Side: A Look at the Sexy Side of Broadway, has been extended and will run at G Lounge & Gallery from now until the end of the month with a closing date of August 8.

Photographer Araujo combines his love for dance and storytelling in the brand-new exhibit. In fact, the exhibit focuses on his B Side or Broadway side of Araujo's photography career.

A working performer, Araujo explains that his love for photography came out of his love for theatre.

Roberto Araujo is a Mexican photographer based in New York City. Beautiful Magazine calls his work "sexy, playful and bright...His photos that represent the full spectrum of attributes that make a personality. In relatively short time, Roberto has become an authority on making photographs that vary from headshots to artistic portraits and fashion." It was recently announced that one of his pieces will be shown as part of "The Exposure Award Exhibit" at the Louvre in Paris, France.

Models in the photography exhibit include Tony host ?Alan Cumming, ?Callan Bergmann, ?Yurel Echazarreta, ?Peter Nelson and ?Alec Varcas?, among others.

The solo exhibition opens June 30 from 6 PM-9 PM. Araujo's work will be displayed through August 3. The 22 images are available for purchase.

G Lounge is located at 225 W. 19th St.
