The March schedule for Any Wednesday at Tower, a free series that celebrates the best in cabaret, jazz and Broadway vocalists, has been announced.  This month, Brian Lane Green, Isabelle Georges, KT Sullivan and Mark Nadler, Debbie Gravitte and Michael Winther will perform at Tower Records (66th St. and Broadway), with performances beginning at 6 PM and lasting approximately 30 minutes.

The performances, which take place on the lower level in the vocal/jazz department, are followed by a signing/meet-and-greet session with the evening's artist.

On March 1st, Brian Lane Green will perform.  "This dynamic young performer, a Tony nominee, songwriter and performer, won the audience over last year when he appeared with Lee Lessack. Now he's flying in from California to appear in an evening all his own, based on his album 'Waiting for the Glaciers to Melt,' a collection of his own songs. Brian's work is a mix of poetic reflections and a contemporary sound that should intrigue all," state press notes.

Isabelle Georges will appear on March 8th.  "Traveling from her native Paris, Isabelle Georges will celebrate the release of a new recording of Maury Yeston's December Songs, coming from PS Classics. The international chanteuse and musical theater star will perform highlights of this dramatic and moving song cycle in English. Mr. Yeston also plans to attend."

On March 15th, KT Sullivan and Mark Nadler will take the spotlight.  "The New York cabaret favorites join us to celebrate the lyrics and extraordinary career of Dorothy Fields. Songs from Hollywood and Broadway represent Ms. Fields wit, warmth and brilliant characterization of personalities from all social strata. Mr. Nadler's extravagant humor and Ms. Sullivan's powerful voice and interpretative skill combine to bring this catalogue of work to life."

On March 22nd, Debbie Gravitte will perform.  "The Tony-winning Broadway belter, has a new best-selling album that collects songs from the many roles she has played on stage, ranging from the Leader in Zorba to Matron Mama Morton, from 'Junkman' to 'Mr. Monotony' to 'Memories.' Ms. Gravitte's humor and zest for life comes through on this album and will when she recreates many of these performances live at the store."

On March 29th, Michael Winther will perform selections from Songs From an Unmade Bed.  "We will be celebrating the release, from Ghostlight, on the cast recording of this successful off-Broadway production from last year. An unusual song cycle that explores the love life of one man, features the lyrics of Mark Campbell, and the music of 18 of the brightest young composers, each finding different ways to express the same young man's journey in search of happiness.  Winther, the show's original star, will perform songs from the album, and be joined by Mr. Campbell and several of the composers."

Seating is limited, and all performances are free.  For more information, please e-mail: AnyWedsAtTowe@aol.com or contact Bart Greenberg at 212-799-2500 x138.
