Kyle Chandler & Aaron Pierre Explain Hal Jordan's Suit and Ring in LANTERNS Episode 2
Cast members unpack how Hal Jordan's belongings reflect his character on the DC Studios series.
Kyle Chandler, Aaron Pierre and other cast members from LANTERNS sat down for a new HBO Max featurette to discuss the significance of Hal Jordan's suit and possessions as they appear in the show's second episode. The segment digs into how the character's costume and belongings carry meaning within the story, giving viewers a closer look at the details built into the production.
Chandler plays Hal Jordan opposite Pierre's John Stewart, according to prior BroadwayWorld coverage of the series. That reporting has framed LANTERNS around a murder mystery that draws the two characters together while also exploring the wider Green Lantern Corps mythology, with the pair previously breaking down their contrasting personalities and on-screen chemistry as an odd couple bound together by one ring.
New episodes of LANTERNS stream Sundays at 9pm on HBO Max, continuing the mystery at the center of the series. HBO Max has built out a substantial promotional campaign around the show, including behind-the-scenes looks at props like the Green Lantern ring alongside cast conversations such as this one.
The featurette follows earlier HBO Max coverage of the series, including a breakdown of Chandler and Pierre's on-screen chemistry as Hal Jordan and John Stewart.
