This directory features upcoming show listings for more than 1500 high schools nationwide with more being added each week. Schools can register for 'enhanced' listings on the site - adding in photos, cast lists, videos, links and more. For this latest spotlight, we're thrilled to head to the 'Home of the Knights' to showcase Newport High School in Bellevue, Washington!

Under the direction of Principal Heidi Fedore, Newport High School caters to grade 9-12 students with a passion in the arts by offering many fine and performing arts activities. The school's successful band ensembles (consisting of marching, concert, jazz and percussion groups) often place in competitions and participate regularly in festivals and concerts. Students interested in vocal performance can join the choir called 'The Voices of Newport', and a Drama group is also active at the school, hosting various productions and activities throughout the year. The school is also home to an award-winning Chamber Orchestra which has consistently placed at the Northwest Orchestra Festival. Students at Newport will next produce a rousing production of the toe-tapping musical 'Footloose'. The show is slated to begin its run on May 24 and continue through June 2, 2012. For tickets and more information, call 425-456-7400.
