UnsungMusicalsCo. Inc. announces its first annual benefit concert featuring the world premiere of Nothing is Forever, a new musical with music by Pulitzer Prize and Grammy Award winner Morton Gould (Stringmusic, Billion Dollar Baby) and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award nominee Carolyn Leigh (Peter Pan, Little Me, "Witchcraft").

Obie Award winner Donna Bullock (Ragtime, A Class Act, City of Angels) will star in the intimate evening, which will be held at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia (2537 Broadway at 95th Street) on November 5 at 5:30pm and 8:30pm.

Additional casting will be announced shortly.

Conceived and directed by UMC artistic director Ben West (Gatsby, How Now, Dow Jones), Nothing is Forever is a dazzling musical portrait of one woman at three different decades in her life. Romance, cynicism and regret intertwine in this evocative and timely tale set in New Orleans' vibrant French Quarter.

This new song cycle is comprised entirely of material originally written for the unproduced musical Enter Juliet. Based on the film Juliet of the Spirits, Enter Juliet was announced to open on Broadway in fall 1978 but never came to fruition. To create Nothing is Forever, Mr. West has unearthed and reassembled Mr. Gould and Ms. Leigh's score with new musical arrangements by Fran Minarik (Making the Boys, Platinum).

The special concert presentations will benefit UnsungMusicalsCo. Inc. Each performance will be followed by a reception for ticket holders at Symphony Space's Thalia Café. Tickets for the intimate evening are priced at $100, a portion of which is tax deductible, are available through the Symphony Space Box Office at 212-864-5400 or symphonyspace.org.

UMC will present its first production in winter 2012 and is currently presenting the world premiere concert of Gatsby by Hugh Wheeler, Lee Pockriss and Carolyn Leigh at the 2011 New York Musical Theatre Festival
