Classic Musicals at Muny

Sir Elton John has made it to the Muny in St. Louis. Well, at least his composed music has. Aida, John's Broadway spectacular based off an opera by Verdi, plays June 26 - July 2.

This isn't the first time the Nubian princess has graced the Muny stage. The Verdi opera played in 1917 and 1928. Of course, after Elton John gets a hold of something, its made completely new. This contemporary version maintains the same beautiful love story that has embraced audiences.

Season tickets for the Muny, $42-$371, go on sale April 17. Single tickets for each show are available to the public on June 3, ranging in price from $8-$60.
