Tony Award-winner Bebe Neuwirth who starred as Velma Kelly in the original company of the musical revival "Chicago" will return to the show for a special engagement, December 31st through March 25th this time starring as Velma's partner in crime, Roxie Hart.

This marks the first time that an actress will play both starring roles in the Broadway production of the musical, which celebrates its 10th year on Broadway as Broadway's longest running revival on November 14th.  Neuwirth, among other actresses, has previously played both Roxie and Velma in the London staging of the show.

The evening will benefit Safe Horizon, the nation's largest victim's assistance charity.

"Chicago" currently stars Bianca Marroquin as Roxie Hart, Brenda Braxton as Velma Kelly, Usher as Billy Flynn, Kevin Chamberlin as Amos Hart (Rob Bartlett becomes Amos Hart on September 11th), Lillias White as Mama Morton and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine.
