BWW Previews: RULES OF COOL Original Comedy Series Premieres

AKA Studio Productions will launch a nine-episode SAG original comedy web series, "Rules of Cool" on January 26, 9 p.m. on the series' YouTube channel. The show's stars and creators, new comedic kids on the block, Caitlin Cooke and Lacey Jeka will make their lead role debut alongside the series' executive producer, Ashley Kate Adams ("Royal Pains" and Broadway's "La Cage Aux Folles") television breakout star, Jake Robinson ("The Carrie Diaries" and NBC's "Odyssey"), Ravi Roth (Off-Broadway's " ALTAR BOYZ") , Bryan Langlitz (Broadway's "Memphis") and MTV's reality heartthrob Kenny "Mr. Beautiful" Santucci.

AKA Studio Productions will release episodes 1,2 & 3 on Monday January 26th at 9 P.M. and will continue to release 3 new episodes each Monday leading up to Valentine's Day on Rules of Cool's YouTube channel and at www.rulesofcoolseries.com. The show may be hauntingly relatable to any 20-something who has ever lived in New York City (or any other big city for that matter) but also will appeal to anyone who enjoys the oh-so-valuable self-deprecating humor that is what reminds us we just can't take life too seriously. The series lead characters, Kate and Lucy, are two deluded BFF's in New York City living off of Chinese food and their parents check books. On the 5th day of bing-watching reality TV, Kate takes a "How Cool Are You?" quiz in Razzle-Dazzle magazine with devastating results. Thus beings a race to check off the magazines list that shakes up their world and ultimately reinvents what it means to be cool. "Rules of Cool" makes for a perfect 'cuddle up with your hot chocolate in your PJs and get ready for some laughs' weekly winter watch.
