Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today a general rush ticket policy for the highly anticipated new musical Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter. Beginning with the show's first preview this Thursday, November 21st, a number of $40 tickets will be made available for each performance, for purchase day-of at the box office of the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street). Tickets are subject to availability, and patrons are limited to two rush tickets per person. Beautiful - The Carole King Musical comes to Broadway on the heels of a sold-out, critically acclaimed World Premiere in San Francisco, and officially opens on Sunday, January 12, 2014.

Tony Award-nominee Jessie Mueller stars as 'Carole King'; she's joined by Jake Epstein as 'Gerry Goffin', Anika Larsen as 'Cynthia Weil', Jarrod Spector as 'Barry Mann', Jeb Brown as 'Don Kirshner', Liz Larsen as 'Genie Klein', and an ensemble that includes Ashley Blanchet, E. Clayton Cornelious, Joshua Davis, Alysha Deslorieux, Kevin Duda, James Harkness, Carly Hughes, Sara King, Rebecca LaChance, Douglas Lyons, Chris Peluso, Gabrielle Reid, Arbender Robinson, Rashidra Scott, Sara Shepard, andMelvin Tunstall.

With a book by playwright and Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Douglas McGrath, direction by Marc Bruni and choreography byJosh Prince, Beautiful features a stunning array of beloved songs written by Gerry Goffin/Carole King and Barry Mann/Cynthia Weil.

The creative team also includes Derek McLane (Set Design), Alejo Vietti (Costume Design), Peter Kaczorowski (Lighting Design), Brian Ronan (Sound Design), Charles G. LaPointe (Wig and Hair Design), Steve Sidwell (Orchestrations and Music Arrangements), Jason Howland (Music Supervision), John Miller (Music Coordination) and Stephen Kopel (Casting).

Regular ticket prices for the Broadway Premiere of Beautiful range from $75 - $152. Tickets are available via Telecharge.com and in-person at the Sondheim Theatre box office. Beautiful will play the following schedule: Tuesdays - Thursdays at 7PM, Wednesdays at 2PM, Fridays at 8PM, Saturdays at 2PM and 8PM, and Sundays at 3PM.
