Teatro Paraguas presents ¡Viva México! The Music, Dance and Poetry of Mexico, a vibrant celebration of Mexico's rich cultural heritage. This production features a diverse cast including actors and singers Alex Streeper, Ali Esmeralda Marin, and Cristina Vigil, alongside dancers from Ballet Folclórico Xóchitl and Los Niños de Santa Fe. The performance showcases a journey through Mexican music and poetry, from Pre-Columbian times to the present, with all songs and poems presented in Spanish, accompanied by English translations projected above the stage. The production runs from September 6 to September 15, 2024, celebrating the spirit of Mexican Independence Day.
