Luna, Luna, Luna is a new flamenco production by Compañía Chuscales & Mina Fajardo, inspired by Romance de la Luna, Luna, one of the most celebrated poems by Spanish poet Federico García Lorca. The production explores the mystery, beauty, and symbolism of the moon through flamenco dance, music, poetry, and storytelling, including Lorca-inspired poetry and children's poetry. Music Director and Composer Chuscales, born in Granada, Spain, and Artistic Director Mina Fajardo, born in Japan, lead a company of featured artists including dancers Alexis Padilla, Jasmine Padilla, Dani Mouw, Micah Birdshire, Giovanna Chavez, Allison Hoyman, Isabella Garcia, Allana Pratt, Angelique Cordova, Alandra Lopez, and Zoe Whittle, along with flutist Jojo Sena-Tarnoff, keyboard player Jeff Tarnoff, and actor/poetry reader Argos MacCallum. The production is presented in the intimate setting of Teatro Paraguas in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
