Tickets to THE BOOK OF MORMON's Run at Princess of Wales Theatre On Sale 6/2
Back by popular demand following its record-breaking six-week engagement in 2013, THE BOOK OF MORMON will return to Toronto's Princess of Wales Theatre this fall for a strictly limited engagement, with performances beginning September 16, 2014.
Tickets for the Toronto run will be available to Front of The Line by American Express card members in advance on Tuesday May 20 at 10AM through May 25 at 10PM. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday June 2. Tickets will be available in person only for the first two hours 9AM - 11AM at the Princess of Wales Theatre box office - 300 King Street West. Online and phone sales begin at 11AM. THE BOOK OF MORMON broke house records week after week during their recent engagement and currently holds the all-time record for the highest weekly gross (for an eight-show performance week) for the week ending June 9, 2013 during which the show grossed $1,895,897.00
THE BOOK OF MORMON features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. Parker and Stone are the four-time Emmy Award-winning creators of the landmark animated series, "South Park." Tony Award-winner Lopez is co-creator of the long-running hit musical comedy, Avenue Q. The musical is choreographed by Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw (Monty Python's Spamalot, The Drowsy Chaperone) and is directed by Nicholaw and Parker.
