BROADWAY BARKS is taking over Shubert Alley again on Saturday, July 14, 2018 for the 20th anniversary of the star-studded dog and cat adoption event that benefits New York City animal rescue groups. The event, co-founded by Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore, features Broadway celebrities who use their star power to help find loving homes for animals in need from28 participating NYC area shelters. 

In celebration of acclaimed photographer Andrew Eccles' 16 years capturing stunning images of the human form for Broadway Bares' advertising campaigns, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS invites lovers of the show and of fine art to a special gallery exhibition and online auction of one-of-a-kind prints of Eccles' work.

Broadway's sexiest dancers will bring the heat to Fire Island when Broadway Bares returns with sizzling striptease on Saturday, June 2, 2018. New York City's best dancers will share their hottest moves and toned bodies in two highly produced performances of Broadway Bares Fire Island at 7 pm and 9 pm at Whyte Hall's Brandon Fradd Theater in Fire Island Pines.

Humor, hope and heart were at the core of the performances at the 32nd annual Easter Bonnet Competition. Wicked dedicated their performance to cast member Jerad Bortz and his husband Steven Skeels, who suffered a devastating car crash that left Bortz paralyzed from the chest down. Legendary Tony Award winners, a three-time Emmy Award nominee, an Oscar winner and an iconic Disney princess are among the stage and screen stars coming together for Broadway Backwards, the theatre community's annual gender-bending celebration of love and the LGBT community.

The Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDSBoard of Trustees, at its February 22, 2018, meeting, honored Paul Libin, its president for the last 24 years, with a special $100,000 grant to The Actors Fund to create the Paul Libin Center. The center will be the New York City home for Looking Ahead, a program that helps professional young performers build community and make a healthy, successful transition to adulthood.
