THE SATIN DOLLZ currently playing their Holiday Show at the Brooklyn Deli on West 43rd Street in  Times Square every Friday and Saturday night at 8 pm and Sundays at 5 pm took a night off this week and went Christmas Caroling to all the Fireman Group restaurants in Manhattan. Check out photos here!

On Saturday, September 9th, the Land of Oz illuminated Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach at Celebration of Global Friendships: Emerald City. The Oz-inspired soiree benefited Mission Plasticos, a local nonprofit that provides free reconstructive surgery through a team of board-certified volunteer surgeons to those who need it most throughout the world. Winner of the Barclays Stage Award for Best Show for Children and Young People, LIFEBOAT by Nicola McCartney is a true story of courage, survival and enduring friendship set during World War II. In September 1940, a ship, the City of Benares, set sail from Liverpool for Canada. Onboard were 90 evacuees trying to escape the relentless bombing and dangers of war-torn Britain. Four days into its journey, the ship was torpedoed and sank. Only eleven of the evacuees survived, including two fifteen-year-old girls, Bess Walder (Ashley Smith) and Beth Cummings (Hannah Donaldson) who spent 19 terrifying hours in the water on an upturned lifeboat during a harsh, relentless storm. Through their will to survive in spite of their dire situation, they endured to tell their story so the bitter consequences of World War II on so many innocent, young children will never be forgotten.

This exuberant stage production is like a Norman Rockwell painting brought to life. Set in Hohman, Indiana in 1940, raconteur, Jean Shepherd (Chris Carsten) reminiscences about nine-year-old Ralphie's quest for an official Red Ryder, Carbine-Action, 200-Shot Range Model Air Rifle B-B gun.
