The Ziegfeld Society of New York City will present LEGACY On the Line: The Road to Becoming a Rockette, the final production of their 2015-2016 season, on Saturday June 25th, 2016. Presented in association with Legacy 36, LCC, the multi-autobiographical musical revue starring The Legacy Dancers, directed and choreographed by Mary Six Rupert, will take place at Lang Recital Hall, Hunter College (68th Street between Park and Lexington Avenue), and tickets for the 3:30pm and 6:30pm performances are now on sale. There's a reason A CHORUS LINE, the hit musical about seventeen dancers auditioning for a Broadway show played for 6,137 performances in its original run. Audiences simply connected with these people and their experiences - with the universal feeling of wanting something so bad you can taste it, and with the fascination of seeing the blood, sweat and tears that go into casting a production.
