Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty 2022

Center Theatre Group (CTG) announced today the North American premiere of Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends, starring Bernadette Peters (Gypsy, Annie Get Your Gun) and Lea Salonga (Miss Saigon, Here Lies Love), and directed by Sir Matthew Bourne (Swan Lake, My Fair Lady), playing at the Ahmanson Theatre from February 8—March 9, 2025.

New Adventures and Sadler's Wells have announced casting for Matthew Bourne's “ROMEO AND JULIET” which will tour to 13 UK venues including a five-week Summer Season at Sadler's Wells, ahead of a major international tour next year.

Marking the 10th anniversary of Matthew Bourne’s gothic romance, Trafalgar Releasing is delighted to announce that a brand-new filmed recording of Sleeping Beauty is being released in cinemas across the UK on Wednesday 28th June and Sunday 2nd July 2023. International screenings will follow in the autumn.

This Autumn will see the highly anticipated British musical premiere its first full production in select theatres across the UK. Kicking off with a bang on 25 October at the Festival Theatre, Edinburgh, Treason will continue to Sheffield Lyceum Theatre on 31 October and finally explode into London's Alexandra Palace from 08 – 18 November.

New Adventures has just announced its next two Emerging Artist Apprentices, Hannah Kremer and Perreira Franque. The Emerging Artist Apprenticeship is a two-year talent development scheme that supports dancers as they transition from professional training to working in the industry, with a particular focus on developing those who are underrepresented.

Wise Children today announce that Liam Tamne joins the company as Heathcliff for the world première production of Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights on 15 March, completing the run at the National ahead of the UK tour. Adapted and directed by Emma Rice, the show is a co-production with the National Theatre, Bristol Old Vic and York Theatre Royal.
