It is the story of Quanah Parker, the last Comanche chief, his mother Cynthia Ann Parker and the Parker Family settling in Texas and the survival and ascendancy of the great Comanche people.  It is, in part, a tragic, sad, heartbreaking story-a story of war, bloodshed, death and heartbreak-but it is, more importantly, a story celebrating the strength and power of the human spirit.  Under the Streetlamp is coming to The Ridgefield Playhouse for a live, one-night-only performance on Wednesday, May 17 at 8 p.m. as part of the Ridgefield Magazine Broadway and Cabaret Series partially underwritten by Adam Broderick Salon and Spa.  Featuring former leading cast members of hit Broadway musicals including "JERSEY BOYS," Under the Streetlamp is a concert celebration of classic hits of the American Radio Songbook from the 1950s-1970s. Their shows feature tight harmonies and slick dance moves that take audiences back to an era of sharkskin suits, flashy cars and martini shakers.
