Author Dean Kutzler Donates Portion of Preorder Sales to Cat Shelter
by BWW News Desk - Jun 28, 2016

Dean Kutzler, the author of the book, Brownstone, a new thriller scheduled for release on September 6th has announced that he is donating a portion of pre-order sales to the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society. His purpose is two-fold. He wishes to help aid the good work they do at their no kill shelter and encourage other facilities nationwide to adopt PAWS' policies. Kutzler first decided on the campaign when his Cats of twenty-five years (Ying & Yang, brothers) died back in September of 2013. He and his partner visited PAWS' shelter in Center City and happily found Xena, a tuxedo cat that was missing her front, left paw. Immediately upon seeing Xena, Kutzler knew that she needed extra attention and adopted her. Although it isn't a kill shelter, the rescue animals are only given so much time for adoption before PAWS staff must send them to neighboring facilities in the hopes of finding forever homes. At this time, there is no guarantee that they won't leave PAWS and be sent to kill shelters. When Kutzler and his partner found Xena, her time at PAWS was up. As such, PAWS' volunteers cried tears of joy when the pair took Xena home. About the Author Philadelphia's Thriller Author, Dean Kutzler, has made it a personal goal to abolish animal kill shelters He feels it is one of the biggest injustices humans have put upon helpless animals. For more information about his cause or his latest thriller, please contact him at About the Novel Brownstone is a fast-paced thriller set in NYC. Jack Elliot races against time to pay respect to his dying uncle. Not only does he become the number one murder suspect in two cases, a clandestine organization from the beginning of times has been patiently waiting for him and his DNA. What do they want? The answer may shock you. Respected author, Rebecca Cantrell says this about Mr. Kutzler's book, 'The intriguing puzzle in Brownstone makes you question everything you've learned about the Bible!'
