Rick Crom's Newsical at Upstairs at Studio 54 (located at 254 West 54th Street between 8th and Broadway) announces the collaboration between celebrity buzz buff Michael Musto and Newsical creator Rick Crom. Every month, Musto will tip Crom off to his imminent scoops, complete with extra salacious details when applicable. Crom, in a frenzy, will then churn out what is essentially a musicalized version of the column, with a few more added endowments. The song will be called 'The Michael Musto Song', and will premiere at the Wednesday, March 2nd performance. Each new 'Musto Song' will premiere on the first Wednesday of every month. (more...)
