The York Theatre Company has announced that Marie Grace LaFerrara will join the staff as the Executive Director, effective immediately. Ms. LaFerrara brings her passion in developing and building relationships, mentoring, team building, problem solving and fostering connection through authenticity to The York.

But Wilder, a new comedy that centers on a small-town high school theater department in the 1980's and the chaos that ensues from a love affair between a teacher and a student, will be presenting special post-show talkbacks featuring several prominent figures from the worlds of journalism, law, and religion.

Wasatch Theatre Company kicks off its 25th season with THE LARAMIE PROJECT, chronicling the assault and murder of Matthew Shepard in 1998.  The Tectonic Theatre Project visited the town of Laramie where the murder took place to interview townsfolk immediately after the incident in 1998. 

Wasatch Theatre Company kicks off its 25th season with THE LARAMIE CYCLE, a combination of two plays titled THE LARAMIE PROJECT and THE LARAMIE PROJECT: TEN YEARS LATER.  Both plays chronicle the assault and murder of Matthew Shepherd in 1998.  The Tectonic Theatre Project visited the town of Laramie where the murder took place to interview townsfolk immediately after the incident and again in 2008.  The reactions are documented in both plays.

Barrington Stage Company has announced casting for the world premiere of Burman New Play Award winner All of Me on the Boyd-Quinson Stage September 21 – October 9, 2022. All of Me will feature Madison Ferris (Broadway’s 2017 The Glass Menagerie revival) as Lucy, Danny Gomez (NBC’s “New Amsterdam”) as Alfonso, and more.

Irish Repertory Theatre announced today casting for the World Premiere of the new musical The Butcher Boy, featuring book, music & lyrics by Asher Muldoon. The Butcher Boy will begin previews on the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage on July 21, 2022 and is set to open on August 1 for a limited run through September 11, 2022.
