The musical theatre classic Brigadoon, with music by Frederick Loewe and book/lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, is the fourth show in the 2014 Music Circus season at the Wells Fargo Pavilion, the 64th season for the venerable Sacramento institution. Performances are today, August 5 - 10.

With true love anything is possible, even miracles, in this journey to the mystical Scottish Highlands village of Brigadoon. A long-time favorite of Music Circus audiences, the traditions of two worlds collide in the enchanting, romantic tale by the team that created Camelot and My Fair Lady, with iconic choreography and a soaring score featuring "Almost Like Being In Love," "From This Day On" and "The Heather on the Hill." The New York Times called Brigadoon "a miracle that is pure Broadway." And The New York Daily News raved that the show is "a classic of musical theatre, an unquestionable Lerner and Loewe masterpiece ... it still has the power to enchant us with its outpouring of glorious songs."
