Tyler Perry is taking on a new challenge: streaming. Perry recently made his first deal with Netflix for the movie “A Fall From Grace.” He joined 'CBS This Morning' to talk about the new film and also commented on the recent Oscar nominations that have prompted criticism for their lack of diversity.

Karl Schultz, jazz piano protege and featured performer in this year's New Paradigm Theatre Holiday show 'Have yourself a Very Jazzy Christmas'. Karl is a Weston High School Freshman who has been playing piano since the age of four. He has performed at a variety of venues. local fundraisers, private events, local theater productions and many more. Karl was an event guest performer at a?oeBeechwooda?? with famed pianist Frederic Chiu, as well as on live radio on WPKN with host Richard Epstein. He's earned top scores in the Western Region musical competition (CMEA), as well as winning medals for Best Soloist and Best Accompaniment at the Music in the Parks competition in Massachusetts. Karl received the top honor award for the arts at WMS for 2018-2019. Karl also performs with the rock band, Caravan-the-Band as well as several other ensembles in Fairfield County.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today the return of its hit Tyler Perry drama “The Haves and the Have Nots,” which premieres its seventh season on Tuesday, January 7 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. The popular series comes back with a vengeance as the Cryer, Harrington and Young families fight for their very existence.

Tyler Perry made history this weekend with the grand opening of Tyler Perry Studios. Perry is the first black American to own a major film studio outright. The Atlanta film complex spans 330 acres with 12 sound stages – larger than the Burbank, California lots owned by Warner Brothers, Paramount, and Walt Disney Studios combined. “CBS This Morning” co-host Gayle King spoke to Perry in Atlanta about the historic moment. Nickelodeon, the number-one kids' network, and Tyler Perry Studios have entered into a content partnership to jointly develop and produce a new kids and family live-action series with 10-year-old rapper Young Dylan (Dylan Gilmer, @officialyoungdylan).
