City Winery New York has announced the initial lineup of shows at their new flagship location on West 15th Street in Hudson River Park. The highly-anticipated re-opening of Michael Dorf's iconic music venue will include headliners Sinead O'Connor, The Mountain Goats, and KEB' MO', with dozens of additional artists to be announced in the coming weeks.

City Winery Chicago, 1200 W. Randolph Street, has announced Grammy-nominated pop artist Vanessa Carlton, R&B chart topper Raheem DeVaughn, Chicago-born jazz sensation Ann Hampton Callaway, and more. The following shows go on sale to the public on Friday, January 24 at noon. Tickets will be available at citywinery.com/chicago.

As BroadwayWorld reported in July, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical will end its Broadway run today, October 27th, 2019, after having played 60 preview and 2,418 regular performances, surpassing the original production of Annie and the landmark 1998 revival of Cabaret to become the 27th longest-running musical (and the 2nd longest running 'bio-musical') in Broadway history.

BroadwayWorld has learned that Beautiful: The Carole King Musical will end its Broadway run this fall. BEAUTIFUL began performances at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre on Nov. 21, 2013, and officially opened on Jan. 12, 2014. So, by the time the beloved musical ends its run, it will have run on Broadway for nearly six years.

Joining the all-star line-up for the 39th annual edition of PBS' A CAPITOL FOURTH, the country's longest-running live national July 4 TV tradition, are Broadway star and two-time Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes (BANDSTAND) plus Rock and Roll Hall of Famers and R&B legendsThe O'Jays. Osnes, whose distinguished Broadway career includes starring roles in CINDERELLA, BONNIE & CLYDE and ANYTHING GOES, will perform a medley of patriotic songs accompanied by the U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own." The O'Jays, the legendary trio behind such classics as "I Love Music" and "Use Ta Be My Girl," will perform their Grammy Hall of Fame inducted Billboard Hot 100 # 1 hit song "Love Train." This April, the O'Jays debuted "The Last Word," their first studio album in 15 years, and what the band has announced will be their final album.

This July 4th, A CAPITOL FOURTH continues its 39-year tradition of celebrating our nation's independence on the West Lawn of the United States Capitol building. Two-time Emmy Award-nominated actor and producer John Stamos (Netflix's YOU, FULLER HOUSE, ER) returns to host the country's longest-running live national July 4th TV tradition. A CAPITOL FOURTH's family-friendly Independence Day celebration will commemorate our country's 243rd birthday with all-star musical performances, and remains unaffiliated with any other July 4th events around the country, and in other locations in Washington, D.C.

Compagnia de' Colombari, an international collective of performing artists founded and directed by Karin Coonrod, presents More Or Less I Am: a music-theater piece drawn entirely from Walt Whitman's revolutionary free verse long poem, 'Song of Myself,'one of the original twelve pieces that comprise his 1855 collection Leaves of Grass. The next performance in this series, spanning multiple venues throughout the five boroughs, will take place on Sunday, May 26, 2019, 7:30 pm at Fort Greene Park, Brooklyn.
