The original cast recording of The York Theatre Company's 2022 world premiere presentation of Penelope, or How the Odyssey Was Really Written, a new musical comedy, with book & lyrics by Peter Kellogg (York’s Desperate Measures), music by Stephen Weiner (The Rivals), is out now.

The York Theatre Company has announced the roster of performers for a concert celebration at the 30th Oscar Hammerstein Award Gala, which will take place on Monday evening, November 14, 2022 at The Edison Rooftop.

The Players Theatre Self-Production Residency Program just opened its 35th show since the program’s launch in 2017. After Happily Ever After, which opened on May 5, recently extended its run until May 29 at the Steve and Marie Sgouros Theatre.

Performances for Penelope resume TOMORROW, Saturday afternoon, April 2 at 2:30PM. The limited engagement will continue through Sunday afternoon, April 24, 2022 at 2:30PM at The York’s temporary home, The Theatre at St. Jeans (150 East 76th Street, between Lexington and Third Avenues). Opening Night is Thursday evening, April 7, 2022 at 7:00PM.

After Happily Ever After, a new musical comedy, is set to make its New York premiere in an Off-Broadway residency at The Players Theatre (115 Macdougal Street) for a three-week limited engagement. The musical is scheduled to open on Thursday, May 5.
