Working In Concert's Bellissima Opera presents in 2021-22: a virtual opera, a celebration of women artists, and a full-length live opera premiere.

This Veterans' Day, Stage West, along with the Atlantic Council, will present an abbreviated reading of the Pulitzer-nominated play War Words by Michelle Kholos Brooks, as part of a nationwide event which celebrates, honors, and recognizes the men and women of our military.

Second Thought Theatre has announced their full production of Sweetpea. As the closing production of the 2021 season, Sweetpea will serve as the theatre’s first in-person production in 18 months.

Dance Me a Song Collective in partnership with Prime Mover Theatre Company announced today that Tony-Award winning Broadway legend Susan Stroman and her long-time collaborator, dance arranger David Krane will headline Theatre Making Movement – a weeklong symposium of events, workshops, panel discussions, and masterclasses that centre around the idea of integrating dance and movement into the early developmental stages of new musical creation.

Sonoma County's popular Cinnabar Theater returns to live performances September 10 - 26 with the local debut of multi-award-winning playwright Molly Smith Metzler's acclaimed comedy Cry It Out, a smart, funny, and equally emotional work about three new mothers from three different backgrounds with one shared struggle.

Too energetic to be labeled 'folk' and not angry enough to be pegged 'alternative,' Eddie from Ohio continues to defy description with their unique blend of vocals and acoustic instrumentation. A bedrock foundation of hand-and-stick percussion and a textural flavoring of guitar/bass/harmonica support the four-part harmonies and lyrically driven original music.

Stage West announces plans to produce an additional show during the 2021-22 season, What to Send Up When It Goes Down by Aleshea Harris. The piece will be performed in Stage West's Evelyn Wheeler Swenson Theatre from April 14 to May 8, with a possible two week extension off site through the Fort Worth community. 

Despite signaling the start of a new era for The Happy Fits, “Another Try” continues the band’s steadfast mission statement of connecting with a world that’s sometimes distant.
