Tippet Rise Art Center announces two online initiatives, adding to its website's expansive offerings of films, performances, interviews, podcasts, and photography. Brought about by the cancellation of the art center's seven-week summer series due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tippet Rise is launching a library of free music downloads in high resolution format and offering its audiences a monthly virtual concert series, Tippet Rise & Friends at Home, comprised of new video streams of past performances.
Ars Lyrica Reimagines Season Finale With Multifaceted Broadcast

Ars Lyrica Houston, the Grammy-nominated early music ensemble, will broadcast its season finale on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and its website www.arslyricahouston.org on Saturday, May 16th, at 7:30 p.m. Johann Sebastian Bach's Phoebus and Pan was half of the original program, Bach Goes Greek, which was intended for the stage of Zilkha Hall. The broadcast will include soloists from a 2008 performance of the work as well as music and commentary from the artists who were slated to appear on the concert.

Sydney Philharmonia Choirs couldn't let the Easter weekend pass without a moment to share the glory and beauty of Bach's St John Passion. The Choirs had originally intended to perform this piece at Sydney Town Hall on Easter Saturday, but as the Covid-19 pandemic forced us all into isolation, they started working towards a plan to record a section for digital release this weekend instead.

The Handel and Haydn Society will perform one of the greatest works in Western classical music, Bach's St. Matthew Passion, on Friday, April 3 and Sunday, April 5 at Boston's Symphony Hall.
