National Alliance for Musical Theatre has announced the line-up of new musicals for their 33rd Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS on Thursday October 20 and Friday, October 21, 2021. This year, NAMT ‘s Festival of New Musicals will be presented as a unique digital and in-person hybrid, allowing wider accessibility for attendees.

PST presents SILUETA, a new musical for Philadelphians, bringing the stories of immigrants and refugees to the front.

The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center has announced the 2021 summer season, which will be held in a hybrid format — both online and in-person. Multi-talented Broadway actor and singer Robi Hager has quickly become an Arden Theatre Company favorite, having been featured in productions such as NEXT TO NORMAL, FUN HOME and RAGTIME. Hager also is an accomplished composer and lyricist who will be bringing his musical talents to the screen this spring with a new cabaret showcasing his original music.

The Arden Theatre Company in Philadelphia has announced plans for a Spring 2021 digital season, featuring original shows that feature some of the company's most celebrated artists. These new productions will be available to the general public starting in February 2021 and will run through May. Tickets will go on sale Monday, November 2 starting at 11AM.

New York Theatre Barn will host a free live stream of its New Works Series on Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 at 7PM EDT, featuring excerpts from the new musicals The Clearwaters and Little Duende. The live 45-minute presentation will also feature a conversation with the writers and creative team.

Broadway vet John Treacy Egan and Metropolitan Opera regular Jason Simon's popular children's book, 'Ingredients for a Witch', originally released in print in 2019, was released as an e-book on September 15th, 2020.

Broadway's Robi Hager (Spring Awakening, Bye Bye Birdie, How to Succeed..., Dr. Zhiago) is bringing his musical BASIC WITCHES to the digital screen for one night only for a worthwhile cause.

Casting has been announced and tickets are now on sale for Starring Buffalo's EVITA, April 3-4 at Shea's 710 Theater. Tony Award-Winner Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Kinky Boots) will play Eva, joining the previously announced Robi Hager (Spring Awakening, Bye Bye Birdie) as Che, Nicholas Rodriguez (Tarzan, The Sound of Music) as Juan Peron, Darryl Semira (Mamma Mia, Bombay Dreams) as Magaldi and Leah Berst (MusicalFare's Bright Star) as The Mistress. The ensemble features many of Buffalo's best, including Karen Grace Harty, Matthew Iwanski - Jackson, Katy Miner, Ben Michael Moran, Matthew Rivera, Raphael Santos and Alexandria Watts, as well as nearly 100 other Western New York singers, dancers, and musicians.

The soaring epic musical by seven-time Tony Award winner Andrew Lloyd Webber (The Phantom of the Opera, Cats) and three-time Academy Award winner Tim Rice (The Lion King, Jesus Christ Superstar) charts Eva Peron's rise to become the most powerful woman in Latin America, and features some of musical theater's finest songs, including the smash hit 'Don't Cry for Me, Argentina'.
