Anthology Theatre, in association with Riverside Studios, today announces full cast and creatives for the 60th anniversary production of Samuel Beckett's masterpiece Happy Days, directed by Trevor Nunn.

The resulting 'Vroom Vroom' released today, and was inspired by spacious, airy pop a la Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own.” In Ross’s typical signature style, the music is feminine and celebratory, highlighting the sweetness and beauty of queer love.

The 35th annual Tennessee Williams & New Orleans Literary Festival will offer two consecutive weekends of virtual programming in March 2021: a virtual Writer’s Retreat followed by a weekend of traditional events presented online. The Writer’s Retreat, March 19-21, will include online writing workshops, author events, and a writing marathon.

In Alan Bennett's thoughtful play, The Madness of King George III, he is depicted as a man who struggles with mental illness, familial betrayal and attempts to usurp his power. After first appearing at the National Theatre in 1991, this enthralling revival was filmed at the Nottingham Playhouse in 2018, directed astutely by Adam Penfold.

As lockdown restrictions start to ease up around the country, a handful of states have allowed movie theaters to reopen. However, in most of those states, most cinemas have remained closed. According to Variety, about 3% of indoor theaters were open last week, and those were at limited capacity.

Artistic Director of Kiln Theatre, Indhu Rubasingham, today announces that her critically acclaimed production of the UK première of Antoinette Nwandu's Pass Over extends for 2 weeks - now running until 4 April. Featuring three acclaimed performances by Alexander Eliot ('An unnerving performance' Financial Times), Paapa Essiedu ('Essiedu is superb a?" let's just give him all the awards now' Time Out) and Gershwyn Eustache Jnr ('A sensational performance' Guardian).
