The Daily Mail reports that London will be getting a new Roald Dahl musical in 2018 just in time for the holidays! Dahl's book, The Witches, is being adapted for the stage by Olivier Award-winning director Lyndsy Turner. The production will feature a score by James Humphreys.

City Staff have reported an unusual sight around the halls of the Lewis Family Playhouse. Normal-seeming women have been seen squelching unsuspecting children, who then seem to disappear forever. In some instances, instead of being squelched, children have been rumored to be transformed into other creatures, including mice! Staff urges all patrons to the Playhouse and the Library to be vigilant and to purchase tickets to MainStreet Theatre Company's production of Roald Dahl's The Witches, opening October 14th and running through October 29th.

To mark Roald Dahl Day today, 13 September, the Royal Shakespeare Company's Matilda the Musical welcomed to the Cambridge Theatre stage a very special visitor. Emma Moore, one of the four actresses who share the role of Matilda in the West End, supported the LEGO Roald Dahl Hero campaign by posing alongside the LEGO build of Matilda - which is composed of 8,900 bricks and took 48 hours to construct.
