Tony-nominated Broadway veterans Brad Oscar (Something Rotten!, The Producers, Jekyll & Hyde) and Bryce Pinkham (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, The Heidi Chronicles, “Mercy Street”) will join the cast of Little Shop of Horrors Off-Broadway this month. 

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley will kick off its 52nd season with Little Shop of Horrors, reset in San Francisco’s Chinatown. In this offbeat musical, narrated through doo-wop ditties by a trio of street urchins, meek florist Seymour finds himself catapulted into instant celebrity when he cultivates an otherworldly showstopper, a highly unusual plant.

Nick Padgett, Producing Artistic Director of Padgett Productions presents LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, through August 21 at the Warwick Theatre in the Westport Entertainment District. This production is one of the best to hit the stage in Kansas City this year. I know when I left the theater I could still hear the songs in my head, and it continued for several joyous days.

Hot on the heels of a very successful run in  last week's Guelph Fringe Festival, this week from Tuesday August 9 through Saturday August 13, the 'On The Edge' Fringe Festival welcomes international touring funny man Tony Molesworth to North Bay for a five day run of his one-man comedy and banjo shtick show titled 'BANJOKER'. 

From Thursday August 4 through Saturday  August 6, international touring funny man Tony Molesworth returns to The Royal City for a 3 day run in the Guelph Fringe Festival with his one-man comedy and banjo shtick show titled 'BANJOKER'. Local music fans will remember him as the emcee of the popular annual Guelph BanjoFest.

Tony Award-winning actress Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Kinky Boots, “Snowpiercer”) will take on the role of Audrey in the three-time Best Musical Revival Award-winning production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS this fall, beginning Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the Westside Theatre.

Rob McClure has revealed via Twitter that he has tested positive for Covid and will be out of Little Shop of Horrors until Saturday, July 30.

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS – in partnership with the Times Square Alliance and the Westside Theatre – will be hosting a Skid Row Block Party on Saturday, July 23, 2022, in honor of the 40th anniversary of the musical’s premiere at the Orpheum Theatre in July 1982.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announced its 52nd season, featuring six plays and musicals to be presented November 2022 through August 2023. Three of the season's productions will be mounted at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, and three will be staged at Palo Alto's Lucie Stern Theatre. Tony, Outer Critics Circle, Drama League, and Drama Desk Award Nominated Broadway star Rob McClure will take on the lead role of Seymour in the off-Broadway production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS beginning next month!

Award-winning film, television, and Broadway star Skylar Astin will take on the lead role of Seymour in the three-time Best Musical Revival Award-winning production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. 

The great thing is the casting changes add and do not detract from the show. Riley and Mia Angelique, who plays Audrey, carry the arc of co-worker crush awkwardness, the puppy love stage of courting, and finally self-sacrificing true love.

It has been said that a shared sense of humor is key to a happy relationship. That is why the McAninch Arts Center believes there is no better way of celebrating Valentine's Day than with “The Best of Second City” Saturday, Feb. 12, at 5 and 8 p.m. Special Valentine's-themed drink specials will be available.

Production photos have been released of two-time Grammy nominee and Theater World Award winner Conrad Ricamora as Seymour in the three-time Best Musical Revival Award-winning production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. Ricamora began his run in the starring role on January 11, 2022 at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street).
