Marylebone Theatre has announced an exciting Spring 2024 season of drama and dance.  The season includes a contemporary adaptation of Dostoyevsky’s Dream of a Ridiculous Man by Laurence Boswell; famed poet Sir Ben Okri presents Revolution Earth; the moving The Most Precious of Goods is translated and directed by Nicholas Kent; and Marylebone Theatre presents its first dance pieces. 

On Friday, December 1st at 5:30pm, Composers Concordance will present a concert of brass music by composer Gene Pritsker and his friends. Joining Gene for this event are trumpeters Peter Oswald and Franz Hackl, John Clark on horn and Steve Swell on trombone.

Composers Concordance hosts 'Art of the Art Song' on November 29. Soprano Ljiljana Winkler joins CompCord Ensemble in a performance of 21st Century Art Songs.

Kathryn Hunter and Winsome Pinnock have been made Honorary Fellows of RADA.

On November 22nd at 7pm at Hošek Contemporary Gallery, Composers Concordance & Eclectic Music eXtravaganza present a chamber music event with an array of eclectic musicians.

On Friday, December 2nd at 8pm at Greenwich House, Composers Concordance will present a concert program that propels an age-old compositional form into the 21st Century.

On November 22nd at 7pm at Hošek Contemporary Gallery, Composers Concordance & Eclectic Music eXtravaganza present a chamber music event with an array of eclectic musicians. The venue is located on The Motor Ship Heimatland, on the Spree river in the middle of Berlin.

London’s newest performing arts venue, Marylebone Theatre, has launched with a world premiere directed by Tim Supple.  Marylebone Theatre, near Baker Street, intends to carve out a special place on the London cultural scene as a beautiful and grand but intimate setting offering cross-arts programming with theatre, music, dance and spoken word.

Dmitry, a new play, is described as 'After Schiller', but, in its dissection of the ruthless manipulation of a young man aiming for the Tsardom of Russia, one finds parallels more recent blockbusters.

Marylebone Theatre, an exciting new London cross-arts venue, is launching with a rediscovery of an unfinished visionary work by Friedrich Schiller, which offers a revelatory perspective on the current crisis on Europe’s eastern borders. 

Composers Concordance will present The Formation Solenne from Germany in a program of eclectic contemporary music for voice, piano, and other instruments on Saturday, December 11 at Benzaquen Hall at the DiMenna Center in New York City.

Martin Wylde is an acting teacher, theatre director and active advocate of both new writing and new work, commissioning and developing plays within the conservatoire and for industry. As Principal Lecturer and Programme Leader for MA Acting at London's Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, he teaches Stanislavsky derived acting methodologies and scene study and directs public productions and showcases on both the Classical and Contemporary Acting courses

Bristol Old Vic today announced the full cast for its major autumn production - Cyrano - directed by Tom Morris, in what amounts to a Bristol All-Stars line-up of the theatre's most charismatic actors from some of the best-loved productions of recent years, with six of the seven living in the South West.

Red Bull Theater today announced the cast for their ninth annual festival of 10-minute plays of heightened language and classic themes, featuring two brand new commissions from Kia Corthron and Marcus Gardley, alongside six brand new plays that have been chosen from hundreds of submissions from playwrights across the country: Kate Abbruzzese, Terry Glaser, Eric Pfeffinger, Bridgette Dutta Portman, David Lerner Schwartz, Sofya Levitsky Weitz, and Matthew Wells.
