Legendary singer Mary Wilson, a founding member of the legendary girl group The Supremes, returned to Cafe Carlyle last night for a run through June 8.

Blue Note Hawaii, the state's premier venue for the world's most celebrated artists, kicks off a new Blue Note Classics Series with three legendary performers - Motown vocalists Martha Reeves and Mary Wilson, and Latin fusion singer/guitarist Jose Feliciano. The Orleans Hotel and Casino will bring celebrated entertainment to The Orleans Showroom in April, including the musical "Up, Up and Away" Starring Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr. and Legendary Ladies of Motown Starring Martha Reeves and Mary Wilson. Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend will also return to The Orleans on Thursday, April 18 through Sunday, April 21. April entertainment will also feature free live entertainment at Bourbon Street Lounge and Bailiwick All American Pub + Eatery throughout the month.

The Paley Center for Media will present Shaping Our Nation's Story: African- American Achievements in Television Presented by Citi from February 1-28. Coinciding with the 60th anniversary of Motown and the 100th birthday anniversary celebration of Jackie Robinson, this monthlong celebration will take place at the Paley Center's locations in New York City and Beverly Hills and will feature an interactive exhibit, family craft activities, education classes for high school students focusing on the civil rights movement, and screenings that take visitors on a nostalgic journey through the most significant African-American moments in television.

Legendary singer Mary Wilson, a founding member of the legendary girl group The Supremes, returns to Cafe Carlyle, May 28-June 8. At Cafe Carlyle, she'll perform favorites from the Great American Songbook, plus a few of her Supreme hits showcasing her legendary smoky voice, as well as share stories from her iconic career. During the intimate set, Wilson will enchant the audience with classic, easy-listening tunes, giving them the chance to witness a diva in her prime.

The upcoming remake of WEST SIDE STORY directed by Steven Spielberg, with a screenplay by Tony Kushner has announced additional casting according to Deadline. Ariana DeBose will star as Anita, Tony Award Winner David Alvarez as Bernardo, and Josh Andres Rivera has been cast as Chino.

Coin Drop in association with HighTide, today announces further London dates for Danusia Samal's Busking It, based on her own experiences as a licensed TFL Busker. Having recently played at HighTide Festival the production opens at Shoreditch Town Hall on 10 October, with previews from 9 October and runs until 20 October.

The company of Fun Home at Cape Rep Theatre in Brewster MA is heading into its run after a happy and intense rehearsal process, excited to bring this Tony Award-winning musical to Cape Cod for the first time. Leading the team is Ashley Brooke Monroe, an up and coming NY luminary, who comes to Cape Rep from Texas-- via Oklahoma and Broadway.

"If nominations for the first couple of Palm Beach County music were held, vocalist Jill Switzer and multi-instrumentalist Rich Switzer would be near the top of the list of candidates," according to Florida Weekly.
