BALLOON BOY: THE MUSICAL, a new musical featuring book, music and lyrics by 19-year-old Billy Recce, will be presented as part of the New Writers Series at The Green Room 42 for one night only, featuring a cast of Broadway and Off-Broadway favorites.

Filming has been completed on writer/director Marishka S. Phillips', MELINDA, a suspense-filled short, starring Tony Award winner LaChanze in the title role.

Romance of the Western Chamber, the musical adaptation (in English) of the fabled Chinese classic Xi Xiang Ji, which opened last Saturday, September 16 at TADA! (located at 15 W. 28th Street, 3rd Floor), will welcome Signature Theatre alum Leanne Cabrera (Emotional Creature) to the company.

Primary Stages announced today that the Primary Stages 2017 Gala will take place on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 6:30 pm. Mark A. Schlegel, aged 57, a longtime resident of Oradell, NJ passed away on Sunday, August 13th. Born in Peoria, Illinois, Mark graduated from Plymouth High School in Indiana, and received a communications degree from DePauw University in 1981.
