Tony Award-winner Beth Leavel, Joshua Dela Cruz, and Ali Ewoldt, will be featured in 20 & UNDER SING 20 & OVER: ACT II, a virtual benefit concert celebrating Broadway musicals, written at least 20 years ago, by having young rising stars (ages 20 and under) pair up with Broadway stars from the Broadway or touring company of each show they are singing from.

Broadway Barkada today announced the release of a music video honoring essential workers and first responders during the COVID-19 pandemic. In conjunction, they have started up a GoFundMe page to help raise funds for one of their favorite small businesses, Jeepney, a Filipino restaurant in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

Just last spring, Sierra Boggess and Joshua Dela Cruz  led a staged reading of Richard Maltby, Jr., Karen Hartman, and David Shire's DANCERS AT A WATERFALL. Now, the two are reuniting to sing a song from the new musical. Boggess writes: 'This song expresses both lyrically and musically what is in our souls right now. Therefore, we wanted to debut this song in this way for all to hear too.'

Dela Cruz will have a new generation of preschoolers searching for clues with the beloved energetic girl puppy Blue. Production on Blue's Clues & You will commence this month in Toronto.

Presented by The New York Musical Festival, Jorge de la Garza and German Cavazos, CHILDREN OF SALT is the first Official Selection of the New York Musical Festival from Mexico, CHILDREN OF SALT by Jaime Lozano and Lauren Epsenhart. The musical is directed by Jose Zayas, musical direction by Geraldine Anello with choreography Stephanie Klemons (Associate Choreographer: Hamilton). The producers of 'Grind' have announced Pasha Pellosie has joined the project as their final lead, Thane. A relative newcomer, Pasha has been on The Carrie Diaries and Law and Order: SVU. He joins previously announced Anthony Rapp (RENT) and Claire Coffee (NBC's Grimm) in this independent musical short film.

SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED's Final Performance Will Be 11/28

Following eighteen sold out shows, the hit cabaret series, SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED, will continue for an nineteenth installment, Sunday, October 30 at 7pm at The Laurie Beechman Theatre. Sondheim Unplugged is currently celebrating the second year of it's smash run, having begun this journey of celebrating Sondheim in July of 2010. The series will close, following an unprecedented 17 month run, with it's 20th performance on Monday, November 28 @ 7pm.
