National Asian Artists Project's Rediscover Series presented Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella- In Concert, starring Ali Ewoldt (Phantom of the Opera) and Josh Dela Cruz (Aladdin, 'Blues Clues And You') as Ella and Prince Topher, on March 2 at The Alvin Ailey Citicorp Theater.

Ali Ewoldt (Phantom of the Opera) and Josh Dela Cruz (Blue's Clues & You, Aladdin) will star as Ella and Topher in the National Asian Artists Project (NAAP) presentation of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella- In Concert, as part of its 'Rediscover Series' which explores classic American musicals, with professional artists of Asian descent, proving that great works of theater speak to all communities. The one night only event will take place on Monday, March 2 at 8PM at The Alvin Ailey Citicorp Theater (405 West 55th Street - between 9th & 10th Avenues). Scroll down for rehearsal photos.

Take an exclusive look at The Lucille Lortel Theatre presentation of  the new musical SOLANA from December 9th, 2019 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.  The cast was led by Thom Sesma (Sweeny Todd, Superhero), Ann Harada (Cinderella, Avenue Q), Judy McLane (Mamma Mia), Steve Blanchard (Beauty and the Beast), Jonah Platt (Wicked), Kay Trinidad (Hadestown), & Megumi Nakamura; and joined by Chad Burris, Jordan Grubb (Groundhog Day), Albert Guerzon (Escape to Margaritaville), Sam Hamashima, Madeline Hamlet, Kendyl Ito (Soft Power), Joanne Javien, Lisa Helmi Johanson, Rebecca Larkin (South Pacific), Jaygee Macapugay, Ryah Nixon, Lulu Picart, Geena Quintos (Soft Power), Trevor Roderick, Kevin Schuering, Fafa Schaeffer, & Lael Van Keuren (Sister Act). Directed & Choreographed by Josh Rhodes (Bright Star, Cinderella), Music Direction by David Holcenberg (Groundhog Day, Matilda), with book, music, and lyrics by Michael Heitzman & Ilene Reid.

Ghostlist Records has announced it will record the new musical Soft Power, the New York premiere production from The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham), for an original cast album to be released Spring 2020. Soft Power features play and lyrics by Tony Award winner David Henry Hwang and music and additional lyrics by Tony Award winner Jeanine Tesori, with choreography by Tony nominee Sam Pinkleton. A co-commission and co-production with Center Theatre Group, Tony nominee Leigh Silverman directed this groundbreaking new musical-within-a-play.
