As detectives slowly pieced together the evidence, they discovered the killer they were after was a woman named Aileen Wuornos. Travel Channel has picked up a second season of its new series “Ghost Nation,” starring the “OG” gang of paranormal investigators: Jason Hawes, Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango. Concluding a successful debut season, which launched out of Travel Channel's annual “Ghostober” event on Friday, October 11, the series has pulled in over 5 million viewers to date. The premiere of “Ghost Nation” was the second-highest rated debut for the network in 2019, with the series averaging a +43 percent ratings increase among L3 P25-54 from year-ago levels season to date.

Bringing peace to the living by giving voice to the dead is the goal of Amy Bruni, Adam Berry and Chip Coffey from Travel Channel's “Kindred Spirits,” returning to the network with 10 new episodes beginning Friday, January 3, 2020 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

The Paley Center for Media announced today that it will preview In Memoriam, an Investigation Discovery documentary that explores the emotional impact on the survivors of three recent mass shootings. This program is the latest addition to the PaleyLive NY fall season and will take place at the Paley Center's New York location on Tuesday, November 5 at 6:30pm.  Following the screening there will be a special discussion and Q&A moderated by former prosecutor, victim's rights advocate, and The View Co-Host, Sunny Hostin.

Travel Channel is upping the ante on what it means to be scared with its brand-new heart-palpitating series, “Destination Fear,” premiering on Saturday, October 26 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The 10-episode series may be the most terrifying road trip ever attempted. Paranormal explorer and documentary filmmaker Dakota Laden – who has spent the last few years investigating the frightening unknown with the “Ghost Adventures” crew – is taking his sister, Chelsea Laden, and best friend, Tanner Wiseman, across the country in an RV to spend the night in the most haunted abandoned locations in America. On Friday, October 4 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, Travel Channel will premiere 'Haunted Salem: Live' - a special four-hour LIVE ghost investigation in and around the historic city, led by a team of the network's biggest paranormal stars. In “The Holzer Files,” premiering Thursday, October 3 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, a dedicated paranormal team – led by investigator Dave Schrader, psychic medium Cindy Kaza and equipment technician Shane Pittman – revisits Holzer's most captivating cases.
