The cast will now star Bre Jackson as Catherine of Aragon, Brennyn Lark as Catherine Parr, and two new Alternates, Ayla Ciccone-Burton and Holli' Conway. The producers will also welcome back Keri René Fuller as Jane Seymour. The new Queens will begin performances on Tuesday, August 9 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W 47th St, NYC).

PETER PAN: A Musical Adventure, with music and lyrics by award-winning songwriting duo George Stiles and Anthony Drewe (Mary Poppins, HONK!, Half a Sixpence) and book by Willis Hall (Billy Liar) will be presented in a new production at Canterbury’s Malthouse Theatre in Spring 2023. 

Identical is based on the novel ‘The Parent Trap’ by Erich Kästner, which inspired the Disney films featuring Hayley Mills in 1961 and Lindsay Lohan in 1998.  Destined for the West End, it will open at Nottingham Playhouse 26 July – 14 August 2022, then transfer to Salford’s The Lowry 19 August – 3 September 2022. A unique night for musical theatre REGENERATE: Lost Songs from the Musicals is a Livestreamed Online Gala Fundraiser in support of charity Mercury Musical Developments (MMD) in partnership with Musical Theatre Network (MTN), to take place on Sunday 18th September 2022 at 7.00pm GMT (1900hrs.)

Today, Theatre Under The Stars announced changes to its upcoming 2022/23 Season including the addition of a brand new show. TUTS will be producing the regional premiere of The Secret of My Success. Based on the hit 1980s film that starred Michael J. Fox.

All new photos have been released from the West End production of Mary Poppins, as Louis Gaunt takes over the role of Bert. Gaunt replaces Charlie Stemp whilst he performs as Bobby in the Chichester Festival Theatre production of Crazy for You this summer. 

The final extension has been announced for the West End run of the Olivier Award-winning Mary Poppins which will celebrate its final West End performance at the Prince Edward Theatre on 8 January 2023. 

As Nottingham Playhouse launches its new brochure for the late summer and autumn 2022 to early Spring 2023, the company has revealed that its first production for 2023 will be the world premiere of Christy Lefteri's gripping best-selling novel, The Beekeeper of Aleppo adapted by Nesrin Alrefaai and Matthew Spangler.

The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts has announced that tickets for the electrifying new musical phenomenon SIX by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss are now on sale. The Broadway musical will run for 16 performances at the Ordway, beginning Oct. 25 - Nov. 6, 2022.

Today (15 June 2022) Cameron Mackintosh Limited announce their West End productions of Hamilton and Mary Poppins are extending their booking periods to December 2022. 

 SIX, the 8-time Tony nominated new musical by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, has just released a new block of tickets, through January 8, 2023. SIX’s Original Broadway Cast Recording, SIX: LIVE ON OPENING NIGHT, has now been streamed over 6 million times since it was released on May 6, 2022. Watch the Queens’ reactions!

Six the Musical will be filmed in the West End at the Vaudeville Theatre next month! The film, recorded for future release, will immortalise the hit West End production and feature the original West End Queens.

The full cast has been announced for 'Identical', the new musical adaptation of Erich Kästner's novel 'The Parent Trap', directed by Olivier & Tony award-winning Trevor Nunn, including three sets of identical twins and two new star dogs!

The “practically perfect” 70-minute musical is an exciting stage adaptation of the classic tales of Mary Poppins. Audiences will join the Banks Family as they encounter adventure after fun-filled adventure with their curious new nanny, Mary Poppins. Adapted especially for young performers, this musical includes favorite Sherman brothers songs such as “A Spoonful of Sugar,” “Feed the Birds,” and “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” as well as wonderful new songs by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe. With colorful characters and an irresistible score, MARY POPPINS JR. is sure to be a crowd-pleaser for all ages!

Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) announced the celebration of its 70th anniversary. Officially recognized on May 29th, the date former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg declared “Music Theatre International Day” in 2012, MTI is celebrating this milestone throughout the next year by showcasing the incredible talents of theatrical organizations around the world.

Following a run of preview performances, the Australian company of MARY POPPINS will open at the Sydney Lyric Theatre on Thursday 26 May. View photos from the production here.
