Gene Reed was on hand to help capture the fun and excitement at Birdland last week as Susie welcomed another starry set of performers to the Birdland stage.

It was business as usual on Tuesday night at Birdland and Susie N co. Make people happy.

The Hostess with the Hudson has had another great week of guests at her artistic home away from home.

Her third week into her return to the stage, and Susie Mosher doesn't show any signs of lowering the bar for her show or her guest list.

The BWW Cabaret Awards honor exemplary performers and productions in New York from October 1st, 2019 to September 30th, 2020. Nominees in all categories excluding Special Event - Solo and Special Event - Multiple needed to have performed all or the majority of their shows (at least two of three shows) during this eligibility period.

The BROADWAY WORLD AWARDS introduces some new categories this year.

Joe Allen Restaurant, the iconic haunt of the Broadway community, has opened its doors once again after 7 months, due to the government mandated shutdown. 

Monday nights belong to Jim Caruso's Cast Party at the legendary Birdland and now in less than a year the place to be on Tuesday night is Birdland's new downstairs theatre and The Line Up with Susie Mosher.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was thrilled to present singer/songwriter Amanda McBroom ("The Rose"), who made her Birdland debut with a concert celebration of her new CD, "Voices' on Monday, June 5.

On Monday, May 13, Cortes Alexander stormed the Broadway at Birdland stage with 'The Swell Show,' along with Billy Stritch at the piano, Ray Marchica on drums, Norman Ludwin on bass, Clarke Thorell on guitar/ukulele, and Julie Garnye and Melissa Bailey as 'The Swell Girls.' For those craving a show after the show, 54 BELOW, the new performance venue located just below the legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street, offers its Tuesday night cocktail party/songfest, 'Backstage.' The 28th Annual Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event-S.T.A.G.E.- just presented ORIGINAL CAST 3, a musical celebration showcasingartists from theater, television and cabaret performing songs they originated in musical productions. On Wednesday and Thursday, July 21 and 22, Jim Caruso's Cast Party traveled West for the third time! For the third time in as many months, the extreme open mic has been jamming The Magic Castle in Hollywood with extraordinary talent, and these two nights were no exception to the rule!

Tonight, Monday, May 24th at 8pm, 88's Cabaret is very excited to celebrate its 3rd Anniversary with performances honoring the last three years. The event will be held at La Boheme's sister restaurant Gonpachi in Beverly Hills. Gonpachi will feature a special menu for 88's with something for everyone (and not at Beverly Hills prices!). Appetizers will start at just $3. The cost is $15 to be seated with dinner (with dinner reservation) and $10 for standing room only, with a cash cover at the door. Cover prices have been lowered as a thanks to all patrons over the past three years. There will be a big announcement at the show that 88's is very excited about. The evening will also include give-aways, prizes and surprises.
