As BroadwayWorld reported on Saturday, John Cameron Mitchell, who recently returned to the role he co-created with composer/lyricist Stephen Trask in their musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch, injured his knee during the production's early show on Saturday night. He completed the performance, but was unable to perform the 10PM late show, as audience members were told when arriving. UPDATE: BroadwayWorld had just learned that the star will officially reurn to the show tonight for the scheduled 8PM performance. (more...)
