Ogunquit Playhouse has revealed the cast of their first production of their 2024 season, Waitress. See who is starring and learn how to purchase tickets.

Waitress begins performances tonight, December 8, at the Cameri Theatre. Performances run through 27 January 2024.

Featuring composer-lyricist Sara Bareilles as Jenna Hunterson, a waitress and expert pie maker stuck in a small town and a loveless marriage.

Tickets to see Waitress the Musical in movie theaters are now available. The spirited and visually stunning footage from the hit musical production, which also features Bareilles in the leading role, was captured live on stage in 2021 during the musical’s reprise run on Broadway.

The touring production of Waitress, playing a limited engagement at Playhouse Square’s Hanna Theatre May 26 – June 26, is looking for two young girls to alternate performing the role of “Lulu” during the five-week run. Auditions for Lulu will take place on Monday, May 9th, at Playhouse Square.

The producers of Waitress and Blumenthal Performing Arts announced casting for the hit Broadway musical, which will return to Charlotte for a special five-week engagement April 19–May 22, 2022 in the Booth Playhouse, followed by a five-week engagement at Cleveland’s Playhouse Square May 26–June 26, 2022 in the Hanna Theatre.

Stephanie Torns will star in the lead role as Jenna Hunterson after understudying the role at the American Repertory Theater, prior to the Broadway run, as well as on Broadway. Stephanie also played supporting and ensemble roles throughout the original Broadway run and the show's restaging in 2021.

Sara Bareilles' hit musical Waitress returns to Playhouse Square this May for a limited 5-week engagement at the intimate 550-seat Hanna Theatre. Playhouse Square launched the first national Waitress tour at the Connor Palace in 2017.

Blumenthal Performing Arts announced that the hit Broadway musical Waitress will return to Charlotte for a special 5-week engagement, April 19 - May 22, 2022, in the intimate 442-seat Booth Playhouse. Charlotte is the opening city on this special tour hitting just a handful of markets around the country.

Chelsea Halfpenny will lead the cast as Jenna in the smash hit romantic musical comedy WAITRESS when the show comes to Theatre Royal Brighton from Mon 11 to Sat 16 July 2022. Full casting alongside Chelsea is to be announced in due course.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Ciara Renée will join the cast of Waitress on Broadway as Jenna starting November 29, 2021. Renée replaces Jennifer Nettles, who will play her final performance on November 24.

Chelsea Halfpenny with join the cast as Jenna in the smash hit romantic musical comedy WAITRESS as from 10 January 2022. Chelsea will take over the role from Lucie Jones who leaves the production to move on to a soon to be announced new project.

Producers Barry and Fran Weissler today announced added Monday and Sunday evening performances starting November 1st for the hit Broadway musical Waitress, currently playing at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street, NYC) through January 9, 2022. The producers of Broadway’s Waitress announced today that on Tuesday October 19, Nik Dodani will take over the role of Ogie and Ben Thompson will step into Earl’s shoes. They join Jennifer Nettles, who will play Jenna through November 24.
