A behind the scenes memoir from Emmy-nominated writer/producer/playwright Billy Van Zandt and his years making America's favorite (and not so favorite) sit-coms will be published on June 2, 2020.

Desert Theatreworks presents a Neil Simon play every season. This year's production is the 1988 farce, RUMORS, which is the perfect vehicle to show off DTW's team of talented actors' physical comedy skills. And they do show it off, in spades; the laughs keep coming, as much from the performers' and director Rebecca Havely's wizardry as from Neil Simon's script.

Emmy-nominated, People's Choice award-winning producer-actress-playwright passed away from a fifteen month battle with pancreatic cancer in Los Angeles, California, on February 4, 2020, surrounded by family and friends. She was 64 years old.

3,000 Off-Broadway Productions proudly presents ANOTHER NIGHT IN THE CATSKILLS a??Hosted by TV's Michael Paul on the Debbie Reynolds Mainstage at the historic El Portal Theatre in the NOHO Arts District, North Hollywood, CA.  This special two -performance engagement will be presented on Saturday, November 30 at 3pm and 8pm.

Filmmaker Robert Townsend is a born entertainer, and his solo show a?oeLiving the Shufflea?? is perhaps more than anything about the pleasure of his company. He seems so comfortable onstage, knowing precisely how to scale his performance to the size of the room, how to punctuate a laugh line for maximum effect, when to pull back a bit to give the material some room to breathe, that it's startling to realize it's been decades since he's done live performance. He first came to national prominence with his groundbreaking, satirical 1987 film, a?oeThe Hollywood Shufflea?? from which his stage show obviously takes its name. In the intervening years, Townsend has had a prolific career as an actor-writer-director-producer in film and TV. Based on the evidence currently onstage at The Marsh Berkeley, it's lucky for us that he's turned his focus to live theater.

A new musical comedy revue The Boomer Boys will perform at the Regent Theatre, 7 Medford St. in Arlington on Saturday, November 23 at 8 p.m. In this hilarious musical revue, a fun-loving 'fat pack' (Jeff Babey, Tom Frascatore, Gary Shaffer, Billy Van Zandt) of middle-aged men realize that the best way to deal with getting older is to laugh about it with your friends.

ABC is the home for unforgettable holiday programming as the network celebrates the joy of the season. Halsted, Chicago. She will be performing her fan-favorite, signature songs, classics from the great American songbook and show-stopping Broadway numbers, that have made her, as the Chicago Sun-Times said, 'a Chicago musical institution.' Denise will be joined by the dynamic Nick Sula Trio.

Vocalist Jan Daley, who resumed her career last year after a nearly 20-year absence, landing two bestselling CD's at the top of the Billboard Jazz Chart, will perform her new show, a?oeBroadway Memories,a?? at the popular Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood on Tues., Nov. 19 at 8:00 PM.

Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore's new musical comedy revue a?oeThe Boomer Boysa?? will play two performances at McCoole's Arts and Events Place in Quakertown, PA on November 9 as part of its Northeast Tour. Other dates include McLoone's Supper Club in Asbury Park, NJ on November 10 and the Regent Theatre in Arlington, MA on November 23.

JAN KOENIG and LISA KNOX present an evening of song in a one-night only production entitled HERE WE GO AGAIN! on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 7:00 PM. It's been four long years since their last standing room only show at Lakewood Side Door Cabaret.

Last night in Berlin, Roy Halock as Bianca del Rio tore the roof off of the Admiralspalast. This is a comic force, the likes of which have not been seen since the great Joan Rivers. Roy/Bianca with his/her x-rated material, potty mouth and encyclopedia of insults has completely outgrown the drag scene and crossed over to a level of commercial acceptance that any comic would envy---with or without a dress. A brilliant night of entertainment. Hold onto your hats and make your way to the nearest performance of this comic genius. Your funny bone will thank you.

Beginning August 5, getTV will begin airing episodes of the popular sitcom “Hot in Cleveland,” starring Valerie Bertinelli (“One Day at a Time”), Jane Leeves (“Frasier”), Wendie Malick (“Just Shoot Me”) and Betty White (“The Golden Girls”). The series, which ran on TVLand from 2010 to 2015, will air August 5 at 6PM ET.
