Two individuals have been honoured in the 'Special Awards' category of the Olivier Awards with Mastercard 2023, recognising their outstanding contributions to the theatre industry.

The Michael Grandage Company announced that their production of Orlando opens at the Garrick Theatre on 5 December 2022, with previews from 25 November, and runs until 25 February 2023.

The Michael Grandage Company has announced that Emma Corrin will return to the London stage as the title role in Orlando, from the novel by Virginia Woolf in a new version by Neil Bartlett. Michael Grandage directs, reuniting him with Corrin, following their recent collaboration on the feature film My Policeman for Amazon.

In celebration of United Solo Theatre Festival's return to its resident stage/home at Theatre Row in New York's theatre district, Omar Sangare, the Festival's founder and artistic director, joined forces with actor and singer Wendy-Lane Bailey to create “Five Minutes: Snapshots in Time”. ELIZABETH IRELAND McCANN, the iconoclastic Broadway producer who won nine Tony Awards during a 60-year career in theater, died after a bout with cancer on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021 at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx, according to her longtime associate and friend, Kristen Luciani.  She was 90 years old.
