With the impacts of COVID-19 changing daily and to ensure the wellbeing of New Jewish Theatre (NJT) patrons, artists and staff, New Jewish Theatre has had to make some changes to their season in order to do their part to help flatten the curve of the spread of this virus.

Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center Announces New Season

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) today announces the details of its 2020-21 season. Titled Bridging the Ages, Co-Artistic Directors David Finckel and Wu Han look to the work of Franz Schubert a?" whose music is the subject of CMS's Winter Festival a?" as the inspiration for the season. Schubert was the bridge from the Classical to Romantic age, connecting musical ideas between eras. Taken as a whole, the season will show how compositions from the earliest years of the chamber music repertory link to compositions in the middle and later years of the genre, leading to a dynamic musical presentation that encourages audiences to imagine the compositional voices of the future. The new season will also expand CMS's commitment to free digital access to chamber music through a new partnership with Tencent for the Chinese-language audience.

Director/Choreographer Sofia Baeta, one of six 2019 Kenan Fellows at Lincoln Center Education, has brought together a team of eleven collaborators to present a dynamic, multidisciplinary exploration of memory and memory loss.
Chamber Music Society Of Lincoln Center Begins 50th Anniversary Season

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center opens the fall season of its 50th anniversary year in Alice Tully Hall on Tuesday October 15, 2019. The program will highlight Dvorák's “American” quintet—a work inspired by the plains of Spillville, Iowa, and the music of Native and African-Americans—along with works by African-American composer Harry Burleigh, and iconic American composers Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein.
