Disney Theatrical Productions today announces public on sale dates for their new production of Frozen in London's West End. The production will reopen the newly refurbished Theatre Royal Drury Lane, with previews commencing in October 2020. With music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and book by Jennifer Lee, Frozen a?' directed by Michael Grandage - opens for priority booking late January 2020, with general on sale on 6 March 2020. Groups and schools booking opens on 24 February 2020.

From the producers of The Lion King and Aladdin, Frozen launches a North American tour, commencing in Schenectady, NY prior to an official opening at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles. San Francisco Opera presents Benjamin Britten's masterpiece of law and order on the high seas, Billy Budd, in six performances at the War Memorial Opera House September 7a?"22. Based on the unfinished novella by Herman Melville and set to a libretto by E.M. Forster and Eric Crozier, Billy Budd returns to the Company's repertory after a 15-year absence in the a?oepowerfula?? (New York Times) staging by Tony Award-winning director Michael Grandage. Lawrence Renes conducts the San Francisco Opera Orchestra and an all-male cast of 75 artists, including 44 men from the San Francisco Opera Chorus prepared by Chorus Director Ian Robertson and 8 boys from the Ragazzi Boys Chorus. The performances coincide with the Melville bicentennial and the 100th anniversary of the posthumous discovery of the American author's unfinished manuscript of Billy Budd.

When David Mamet's new play was announced back in January, it was met with more than a raised eyebrow. Bitter Wheat is a comedy about movie mogul Barney Fein, a man who bears more than a passing resemblance to disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein, and sees John Malkovich make a return to the London stage. The question is, should Mamet be the one to tell this kind of story at this juncture? Do we really need another male perspective on the subject?

Disney Theatrical Productions and Hollywood Pantages Theatre announced today that tickets for Disney's Frozen will go on sale to the public Tomorrow - Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 10am.  The hit Broadway musical will begin performances in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 for a limited 9-week engagement through Sunday, February 2, 2020.

Rehearsals have begun for David Mamet's new play Bitter Wheat which opens at the Garrick Theatre in London on Friday 7 June 2019, with a press night on Wednesday 19 June 2019. The run, which was originally scheduled to finish on 14 September, now finishes on Saturday 21 September 2019.

As Frozen celebrates its first smash year on Broadway on March 22nd, Disney Theatrical Productions has announced that the show will have three international productions, joining the previously announced North American tour launching this fall.
